Finding Fresh and Local

Posted by

Now that the snow has melted and the rain has subsided – we hope! -farmers’ markets and roadside stands are up and running once again. Those first berries, that early asparagus – oh, they are so flavorful and rich in color, they’re quite irresistible.

The following links can come in handy when wondering what is in season and where to find the family farms that sell delicious produce, eggs, meat and more.

    1. Thank you! I love walking through Farmer’s Markets not only for ingredients, but for inspiration, too. The colors, the scents, the wonderful people selling and buying real food … it’s a morning or evening well spent, I think!

      1. Me, too! I feel the same (or similar) about a local health food store. I used to do Holistic Health counseling and included a tour of a health food store as part of their program!

        Enjoy your week. 🙂
